Deepika Padukone
Deepika Padukone (pronounced [di:pIka p@dUko:ne or [pa:dUkoborn on January 5, 1986) is an Indian actress, who is primarily in Hindi films. She is one of the actresses with the highest salaries in India with her accomplishments that includes three Filmfare Awards. Time Magazine named Padukone one of the 100 most influential people of influence in the world in 2018. They also gave her the TIME100 Impact Award 2022. Padukone had the honor of being the youngest daughter of tennis champion Prakash Padukone. Padukone was born in and grew up in Bangalore. At the age of 13, Padukone competed in badminton championships at the national level. However, she left the sport to pursue a profession as a fashion stylist. The model soon began receiving offers for movie roles. She was first seen in 2006 as Aishwarya, the main character in The Kannada movie Aishwarya. Padukone appeared alongside Shah Rukh Khan a dual role as a dual character in Om Shanti Om, her first Bollywood film. The film was awarded an award from the Filmfare Award as Best Female debut. Padukone was praised for her role as the lead in the love story Love Aaj Kal (2009) However, the film was immediately followed by a delay.
