Because of her victory, she was entitled to participate in the Miss Georgia pageant in June 1985. The tournament was also hers on the 22nd of June 1985. In September 1985, Mohr was a representative of Georgia in the Miss America 1986 Pageant held in Atlantic City (New Jersey) following her win. Although she won the title however, she did not get into the top 10 of the national finalist list.
